“Our monthly hybrid Asylum Seekers Service Providers meeting is this coming Monday, December 16 from 12 noon to 1:00 (until 1:15 for further conversation for those able to stay). The recurring link is below. In person, come to the VT Law and Graduate School's CJR Clinic at 126 College street, 4th floor. The street entry door is locked -- go to the intercom on the wall to the right, scroll to find "VT Law", push phone call, and Osvaldo will respond and buzz you in.
The agenda:
We'll discuss community preparedness for the incoming administration. Jill Martin Diaz from VAAP will offer follow-up and Q&A to the Know Your Rights presentations for the community this Saturday Dec 14 (in several languages, they will be recorded, and other sessions ware planned). See my next email for information and a flier, if you did not already receive it in Tracy Dolan's RISPNet message. I will also send other resources that have come to me -- and now and going forward I would direct everyone to the vaapvt.org website that is serving as a clearinghouse and "communications central" for a robust collection of resources and accurate current information -- thank you, Jill and colleagues!!
I hope you can be present on Monday in person or virtually.
