VAAP joins national committeeS

After securing national coverage of VAAP’s first OpEd reflecting on the 2024 National Day of Action, the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) has honored VAAP by appointing Executive Director Jill Martin Diaz to its national Law Student Engagement Committee as well as its New England Chapter State and Federal Legislative Advocacy Committees for 2024-25. VAAP is eager to champion the needs of noncitizen Vermonters in these regional and national arenas, and to forge relationships that will advance our client communities’ rights back home in Vermont.
